Customer Engineering Staff


Our customer engineering staff brings the voice of the customer back to Corning. We work closely with our customers to understand their requirements in exacting detail, and then collaborate with other Corning teams to fulfill both current and emerging needs. This allows us to create a successful strategy for both Corning and our customers.

Because we believe that developing an ongoing relationship with customers is critical to our joint success, we make ourselves available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for communication, coaching, and technical support.

As we develop innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges, we are committed to helping our customers fully integrate these solutions into their processes. For example, to optimize a customer's use of our DensePak® delivery system, our engineering staff initiated a month-long dialogue followed by five days of hands-on work at their plant. This collaboration protected the customer’s production schedule and resulted in an efficient process that maximized the benefits of the DensePak delivery system.
